Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a CPU Power Management FW Developer in Santa Clara, CA to enable power management for Qualcomm’s custom CPUs. You will define embedded firmware, work with hardware and firmware teams, and engage third parties for new platforms.

The role requires senior-level firmware experience, strong C/C++, knowledge of RTOS, and familiarity with ARMv8 architecture. Expect collaboration across teams on optimizations and platform bring-up in both pre-silicon and silicon

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, IS, CS or related field.
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience; 5+ years with master’s degree; 4+ years with PhD.
  • 3+ years programming in C, C++, Java or Python; strong embedded firmware skills.

Responsibilities

The role collaborates internally to help define and implement embedded firmware to manage power and performance for the CPU subsystem within Qualcomm SoCs across multiple verticals. The role also participates in other aspects of management controller firmware development, including power management, boot, RAS, debug, security, and runtime services.In the CPU Power Management FW Developer role, this position works closely with both hardware power management and firmware development teams.
