Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company seeks a Firewatch in Iva, SC. This entry-level safety role supports fire hazard monitoring and confined space work, ensuring permits are followed and hazards are communicated.

Per Diem is eligible; the schedule is 5-10's, and the project length is 10 months. Responsibilities include acting as Fire Watch,Hole Watch or Bottle Watch, maintaining safe conditions, and promptly notifying supervision of any dangers while staying on site during all work

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; however candidates with prior experience will be preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and customers.
• Must be able to successfully pass required Confined Space Entry training.
• Must be able to successfully complete all pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as Fire Watch, Hole Watch or Bottle Watch.
• Monitor for fire hazards and ensure safety permits are followed.
• Keep flammable materials from ignition sources and follow emergency protocols.
• Maintain constant communication with supervision and be ready to stop work if hazards arise.
