TEKsystems is seeking a Contract-based security operations professional in Nashville, TN to review and process ingress/egress requests and ensure compliance with network policies. The role requires collaboration with multiple teams to align requests with enterprise directives and security best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess 2–4 years of IT/network experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Candidates with initiative and accountability.
• 2–4 years of network/IT experience.
• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently to fulfill standard service requests.
• Understanding of networking concepts (DMZ, segmentation, least privilege).
• Experience with Windows/UNIX/Linux or networking.

Responsabilités

• Process firewall rule and other security requests; manage multiple tickets and ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure requests align with Caterpillar policies.
• Counsel on requests to align with enterprise direction and security.
• Understand enterprise security directives and network models.
• Offer alternatives when requests don’t align with policies.
• Coordinate with team members and manage own assignments.
