Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking a Firewall Infrastructure Engineer for Plano, TX. The role requires extensive Fortinet/ FortiGate experience and will involve design, engineering, and implementation of firewall service requests within an onsite-heavy, hybrid environment.

The candidate should have 3–5 years in Network Services, strong ITIL/Agile experience, and the ability to interact with clients at all levels while managing expectations.

Qualifications

• ITSM processes; ITIL and Agile experience.
• Client escalations management and resolution negotiation.
• Fortinet NSE or Checkpoint certifications desirable.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent experience.
• Scripting: Python, Ansible, PowerShell.
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Networking design/implementation/operations background.
• Financial services sector experience is a plus.

Firewall Infrastructure Engineer

Position Summary / Job Description:

The areas of focus for the Firewall Infrastructure role includes design, engineering, and implementation of firewall service requests aligned to the delivery of infrastructure services. As a member of the Network Service Request Fulfillment team, the candidate should possess the ability to analyze and understand a variety of existing, and emerging, business/technical requirements.
