Responsibilities
Installs caulking at penetrations and joints using a bulk caulk gun, pulling product out of buckets, using ‘sausage’ packs, or standard tubes.
Inspect their work to ensure installation was done per UL Design.
Ability to read blueprints / life safety drawings.
Access to penetrations and joints may require use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stage, scaffolds, and ladders.
Regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; as well as climb or balance and talk or hear.
Physical requirements include lifting up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 15 pounds occasionally.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Past firestop experience preferred.
Must have dependable transportation; must be able to travel out of town, both on overnight and day trips.
