Firestone Surgery Center in Columbiana, Ohio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator to join our team in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. This PRN role offers flexible hours in a multi-specialty surgical environment.

Applicants must hold a current Ohio RN license, with BLS and ACLS certifications, and have a minimum of two years of OR nursing experience. ASC experience and circulating in orthopaedics, general surgery, GI, and plastics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Ohio license as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of two years OR nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs in order to provide quality care to assigned patients.
• Confirms that proper techniques and procedures are used according to Standards of Practice and organizational policies and procedures and prepares the Operating Room accordingly.
• Responsible for efficient and effective patient care and quality improvement.
• Effectively organizes time, equipment, supplies and personnel to provide efficient case management.
• Considers cost containment by using supplies economically and in effective turnover time.
• Maintains an adequate inventory for assigned area, including, but not limited to, equipment and supplies and assists with the ordering, receiving and storage of supplies.
• Demonstrates a professional manner.
• Participates in Quality Committee(s), Safety Training programs and completes required competencies
• Maintains current knowledge, certification and licensure
• Responsible for other duties as assigned.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RN looking for a PRNrole in a multi-specialty and fast-paced surgical setting.
