Job summary

Godby Hearth & Home in Indianapolis is looking for a motivated individual to install gas and wood burning hearth products. This full-time position offers a competitive pay ranging from $19 to $25 per hour based on experience and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) program.

Responsibilities include installing fireplace systems per standards, supporting showroom, and maintaining safety protocols. Ideal candidates will have strong initiative, mechanical aptitude, and be able to lift heavy loads. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean background.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs individually and over 200 lbs as a team.
• Understanding of gas and electrical connections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install fireplace systems as per standards and codes.
• Complete all required paperwork for jobs.
• Perform site inspections for product application.
• Support showroom maintenance and updates.
• Maintain a working knowledge of installed products.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety procedures.
