The City of South Pasadena invites applications for Firefighter/Paramedic or Firefighter/EMT roles. We welcome Firefighter/EMTs aiming to complete a department-sponsored paramedic training program, those enrolled in paramedic school, or certified Firefighter/Paramedics.

The City offers fully paid major medical insurance for employees, with additional dental, vision, and AFLAC plans. Employees also benefit from an educational incentive program, holiday pay for 11 holidays each year, a pension

Qualifications

• Florida certification as Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter/Paramedic.
• Completion of a City application is required for all applicants.
• CPAT and Fire TEAM test required for applicants with less than one year of fire service experience.
• Applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. on October 23.
• Must be non-tobacco user.
