Central Florida Tourism Oversight District seeks a Paramedic to provide on-site EMS coverage, patient assessment, and life support within pre-hospital settings. The role requires Florida Paramedic certification, ACLS, and CPR credentials, with responsibilities including incident response, vital signs monitoring, and documentation.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and ideally an Associate’s Degree.
Administers life support care, on an assigned shift, to sick and injured persons in a pre-hospital setting as authorized, assigned and directed by the District.

Maintain current State of Florida and Orange County Paramedic certification. Maintains ACLS and AHA CPR Certifications. Must possess a valid Florida Driver License and maintain insurability under the District's commercial vehicle coverage.

The Paramedic, at times, must be exposed to high hazard situations while performing at emergency scenes. Extreme weather conditions are also encountered during the performance of their duties, and exposure to contagious diseases does occur. Work involves the application of numerous emergency medical and life saving skills and instruction techniques. Work environment may involve stressful conditions having a direct effect on life safety.

Tattoos located on the face, head, neck or hands shall be prohibited. Visible tattoos elsewhere on the body shall be permitted, however, they shall not contain offensive language, symbols, or nudity.
