Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain required certifications appropriate to duty assignment within the Fire/EMS department.
• Bilingual, Spanish/English speakers encouraged to apply.
• High school diploma or GED; an associate degree is preferred for related field studies.
• Five to ten years of related experience and/or training in fire suppression, prevention and/or EMS; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and non-emergency fire suppression and EMS services.
• Operate on a 24-hour shift with duties performed under emergency conditions and personal risk.
• Maintain equipment inventory on emergency vehicles and keep vehicles clean and in working order.
