Qualifications

• CPAT including ladder climb dated 9/28/25–9/28/26 is required.
• IDPH EMT-Basic license at time of application; National Registry Paramedic certification with ability to obtain IDPH EMT-Paramedic by hire date.
• Must be U.S. citizen; no felony convictions; valid driver’s license; ability to read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing to establish an Eligibility List for future vacancies.
• Assist with on-site testing and related documentation for Firefighter/Paramedic positions.
• Coordinate and communicate with Human Resources and testing facilities.
