Greenwood County is seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to join our Fire Services team as Part-Time Firefighter II / Emergency Medical Responders (EMR).
This position provides an opportunity to serve the citizens of Greenwood County while working alongside a committed team of public safety professionals. Part-time Firefighter II/EMRs respond to fires, medical emergencies, and other emergency situations while helping protect lives and property throughout our community.

Successful candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable of performing demanding firefighting duties, and prepared to respond when their community needs them most.
This position requires heavy physical work, including walking, standing, stooping, lifting, digging, pushing, and other strenuous activities. Employees may regularly exert up to 50 pounds of force and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
This is a part-time position with Greenwood County.
