The City of Rock Hill is seeking a dedicated Firefighter to respond to fires, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents and rescues. The role requires independent work under supervision and adherence to NFPA guidelines.

Responsibilities include interior firefighting, rescue operations, equipment maintenance, and timely incident reporting. EMT Basic certification within one year is expected; on-site work is required.

Formación

• Requires High School graduation or GED with specialized fire service training.
• Must obtain and maintain EMT Basic within one year of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to fires, medical emergencies, hazardous materials, rescues and auto extrications.
• Ventilate buildings and remove people from danger; administer first aid and CPR as needed.
• Perform station, apparatus and grounds maintenance.
• Prepare incident reports and assist with pre-fire planning and documentation.
