Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid South Carolina state driver’s license.
• IFSAC/Pro Board Firefighter I certification, NIMS-ICS 100/200/700/800 and First Aid/CPR/AED are required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire and emergency medical calls, including non-emergency situations.
• Perform firefighting and fire suppression activities.
• Administer emergency first aid on scene.
• Participate in drills, demonstrations and courses in firefighting techniques.
• Ensure compliance with station policies and federal/state regulations.
