Qualifications

• Must submit certificates/licenses at time of application.
• Enrollment into paramedic school within 12 months of hire.
• Completion of paramedic school within 13 months of enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Responds to alarms of fire or other emergencies; uses protective equipment and drives/operates firefighting and EMS equipment.
• Administers emergency medical care and conducts rescue operations.
• Participates in training, drills, and maintenance of fire department equipment and facilities.
• Works extended shifts, follows established procedures while applying firefighting and EMS techniques.
