Qualifications

• Must pass NFPA 1583 physical annually.
• Must complete rigorous fire academy within permitted time.
• Obtain Hazardous Materials Operations, Firefighter 1 and 2, NWCG S-130/190/L-180 certifications, NIMS certifications, driver operator, EMS basics and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and train during shifts.
• Complete apparatus and facility checks and keep equipment stocked and maintained.
• Perform all duties assigned by the Fire Chief or designee.
