STARTING SALARY $22.17 per hour (Emergency Medical Technician) & $23.47 per hour (Paramedic)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
SELECTION PROCESS:
From this process, the Village will create an eligibility list. The list is rolling, with candidates having a validity of 24 months. A conditional offer may be made to candidates on the list. Afterward, candidates will undergo post-offer tests including background check, polygraph, psychological exam, medical exam, drug screening, and an in-person interview.
COMMUNICATION: Important information will be communicated via email and/or phone.
WRITTEN EXAM: Interested persons must complete the Village of Hanover Park application and take the NTN Firefighter FireTeam written exam. The exam fee is $50, payable directly to NTN. Existing NTN scores can be transferred for $9.50 if current.
