Danville Fire Department is seeking a Firefighter/EMT/Paramedic to perform firefighting, EMS, and rescue duties as part of the department’s mission to protect lives and property. The role includes incident response, equipment operation, and adherence to NFPA standards and departmental guidelines.

The position requires certification as an Indiana EMT or Paramedic, CPR, and a valid Indiana driver’s license. Expect participation in ongoing training, station duties, and documentation in the EMS

Formación

• Indiana EMT or Paramedic certification is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Valid Indiana Driver’s License is required.
• Annual work performance evaluation must be passed.

Responsabilidades

• Don PPE quickly and respond to emergencies.
• Observe safety guidelines during all operations.
• Laying and connecting hose; directing water streams.
• Enter burning structures to extinguish, rescue and stabilize incidents.
• Administer EMS care and coordinate with team members.
