FIREFIGHTER/EMS FULL-TIME (Martinsville, VA)

The City of Martinsville Fire & EMS Department is testing for full‑time positions.

Full‑Time Minimum Requirements: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years of age, and possess a valid Virginia driver’s license. Preference is given to applicants holding current Virginia Firefighter I and EMT certifications.

The starting full‑time pay range for certified hires, based on Virginia Firefighter and EMS certifications, is $50,000 - $60,800.

The starting full‑time minimum pay for non‑certified hires is $45,455 until academy training is complete.
