Bass Pro Shops in Hermantown, MN is seeking a Gun Vault Specialist to manage backroom firearms processes, comply with ATF/state regulations, and support counter sales of firearms and hunting merchandise.

The role requires handling firearms safely, maintaining accurate ARMS inventories, performing audits, and training store staff as needed, while delivering excellent customer service in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service and firearms sales experience preferred.
• Must understand and follow complex compliance regulations and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify firearms using ARMS; ensure accuracy and proper receiving documentation.
• Dispose firearms per policy and verify disposition data from ATF 4473 to ARMS.
• Conduct monthly firearms audits.
• Complete ATF forms and state paperwork for background checks and ensure legal transfers.
• Maintain firearms inventory and prepare firearms for retail sale.
• Provide counter and floor sales for firearms and hunting merchandise.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and stocked.
