Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking a Firearms Specialist to be the in-store expert for firearms and ammunition sales. You will connect with customers, assess needs, recommend products, and drive sales while ensuring compliance with laws and safety policies.

Responsibilities include educating customers, completing required paperwork, and maintaining product layouts to meet customer demands. A background in firearms sales is preferred and a flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18+ and able to pass background checks and comply with firearm laws.
• 1–2 years firearm sales or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on firearm functionality and usage.
• Help customers select firearms and ammunition based on needs.
• Complete all necessary local/state/federal paperwork for firearm sales.
• Operate POS and understand licensing requirements.
• Maintain planograms and organize Sporting goods area.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and safety policies.
