Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking a Firearms Specialist in Cambridge, MN to serve as the in-store expert for firearms and ammunition sales. You will connect with customers, assess needs, recommend products, and guide safe handling and operation of firearms.

The role requires 18+ and completion of required federal/state paperwork, with emphasis on safety, legal compliance, and high-quality customer service. Flexible scheduling is expected to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18+ and pass a background check; trained in firearms sales and safety.
• 1–2 years of firearm sales or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on firearm functionality and parts.
• Teach customers how to safely use firearms.
• Complete all required local/state/federal firearms paperwork.
• Assist customers with finding and ordering products.
• Operate the Point of Sale and DNR licensing system.
• Ensure compliance with laws to protect the store’s firearms handling.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty programs and credit options.
