Job summary

Gwynedd Manufacturing in North Wales, PA, seeks a Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance across manufacturing, distribution, and business operations, including the Gun Control Act, NFA, and ATF requirements.

The role supports Federal Firearms License (FFL) activities, maintains accurate records, and serves as a secondary contact for government agencies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-driven, and self-motivated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of compliance experience, preferably in firearms manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Gun Control Act, NFA, and ATF compliance.
• Proficiency with MS Office and inventory/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compliance programs to meet ATF and NFA regulations.
• Audit A&D records, serialization processes, and inventory control.
• Prepare and submit ATF/NFA forms.
• Support ATF inspections, audits, investigations.
• Maintain FFLs and SOT registrations.
• Identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, shipping, and sales teams.
• Monitor changes in firearms laws and report updates.
• Contribute to internal audits and risk assessments.
• Supervise compliance team members.
• Maintain secure compliance documentation.
