Job summary

College of the Sequoias invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty pools to teach Fire within its Fire Technology Department continuously. Adjunct faculty will provide comprehensive classroom instruction to community college students under the general direction of a dean or director.

Part-Time Adjunct faculty assignments may include weekend and/or evening classes at the Visalia Campus, the Hanford Educational Center, or the Tulare College Center.

Qualifications

• The minimum qualifications for all disciplines may be found within the Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges.

Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of a dean or director, adjunct faculty will provide comprehensive classroom instruction to community college students.
• The majority of our departments require the ability to teach face-to-face classes.
• Adjunct faculty will also be expected to collect and submit data on student learning objectives as needed.
