J. F. Ahern Co. is seeking a Fire Systems Technician (Fire Alarm Technician) to join our Chicago, IL team.

The role focuses on programming fire alarm and special hazards suppression systems while aligning with safety, design, budget, and schedule constraints. You will engage with customers daily, ensuring they have confidence in Ahern for ongoing needs. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of programming experience and Notifier certification on large, networked systems; NICET certification is a plus.

Estimated Compensation: $55,000-$83,000 plus bonus. This position is also eligible for a company vehicle and gas card. Final offers are based on education, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
