Qualifications

• Two to five (2-5) years of experience in a technician role within the fire suppression environment.
• Ability to work with urgency under deadlines and pass a background/drug and driving record screening.
• Knowledge of fire suppression or related code requirements and OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, test, and maintain fire suppression systems, including extinguishers and kitchen hoods.
• Perform basic to standard level repairs of extinguishers, cylinders, and DOT-specified cylinders.
• Produce detailed commissioning and inspection reports per NFPA guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle inventory and keep facility and inventory safe and orderly.
• Identify opportunities to upgrade current equipment according to code requirements.

Customer and employee interface require a high degree of effective human relations.
