Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in fire and life safety industry as an apprentice or technician.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of fire suppression systems and inspection procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and system drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of extinguishers, range hoods, and fire suppression systems.
• Inspect portables, hood systems, alarm connections, and related components.
• Perform functional testing to verify proper system operation and compliance with codes and customer requirements.
• Identify deficiencies and communicate findings clearly to customers and supervisors.
• Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, inspection reports and manuals.
• Travel to job sites and complete inspections safely and on time.
