Job summary

Tradesmen International in Wilton, CT is immediately hiring experienced Fire Suppression Technicians for first shift. The pay rate is up to $37/hour based on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities include installing, inspecting, testing, servicing and maintaining fire suppression systems such as Ansul hood systems, foam, CO₂ and dry chemical. Ensure NFPA 10 and NFPA 101 compliance and complete precise service reports.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Connecticut F-4 Fire Protection Limited Journeyperson License
• 2+ years of hands-on experience servicing kitchen hood suppression and portable fire systems

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, service, and maintain specialized fire suppression systems, notably commercial kitchen hood systems (Ansul)
• Work on foam extinguishing systems, water spray, CO₂, dry chemical, halon, and other suppression systems
• Conduct routine inspections of extinguishers per NFPA 10 and emergency lighting per NFPA 101
• Diagnose system defects, perform structural repairs, replace malfunctioning components in commercial facilities or restaurant environments
• Complete accurate inspection reports, service documentation, and job logs on time

This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $37/hour based on experience and skill level. • Work on foam extinguishing systems, water spray, carbon dioxide (CO₂), dry chemical, halon, and other liquid or gas fire suppression systems
• Conduct routine inspections of fire extinguishers in compliance with NFPA 10 standards and emergency lighting systems per NFPA 101
• Diagnose system defects, perform structural repairs, and replace malfunctioning components in commercial facilities or restaurant environments
• Complete highly accurate inspection reports, service documentation, and job logs on time
