Job summary
Done Right Hood & Fire Safety is seeking a dedicated Fire Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Service Technician to join our team. You will oversee installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of fire suppression systems and extinguishers, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Candidates should be proficient with Ansul, PyroChem, Badger and Buckeye, maintain NFPA compliance, supervise a service crew, and communicate effectively with clients about estimates and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in fire suppression system and extinguisher service.
- Proficiency with Ansul, PyroChem, Badger and Buckeye systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA regulations and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, service, and install fire suppression systems and extinguishers.
- Supervise a service team and provide training.
- Coordinate service schedules for timely maintenance.
- Conduct quality control checks and certification processes.
- Maintain accurate service records (inspections, repairs, certifications).
- Communicate with clients on needs, estimates, and compliance.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulations.
