Job summary

State Systems, Inc. seeks a dependable Fire Sprinkler Technician to install, inspect, test, and document fire sprinkler systems. You will ensure compliance with codes and standards while supporting customers on-site in Lowell, AR. The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, safety, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include laying out piping, fabricating components, and mentoring helpers. The position offers full-time hours and room for training and development within a safety-driven culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred.
• 1+ years of fire sprinkler experience highly preferred.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel preferred).
• NICET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain fire sprinkler piping and related systems.
• Cut, thread, assemble, and bond piping and tubing according to specifications.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, valves, and fittings.
• Remove and replace worn components as needed.
• Calculate material measurements and verify specifications.
• Mentor and coach fire sprinkler helpers on proper repair and service techniques.
• Conduct inspections and testing on water-based fire sprinkler systems (5-Year, Annual, Semi-Annual, Quarterly, Monthly, and Weekly).
• Learn to troubleshoot system issues and recommend resolutions to supervisors.
