Job summary

State Systems, Inc. is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician in Lowell, AR. The role covers installation, inspection, testing, and documentation of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

The technician will ensure reliable performance and safety for life-safety systems while working on-site and with field teams. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years of fire sprinkler experience preferred, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of fire sprinkler experience highly preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs repeatedly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• NICET certification preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain fire sprinkler piping and related systems.
• Cut, thread, assemble, and bond piping and tubing according to specifications.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, valves, and fittings.
• Remove and replace worn components as needed.
• Calculate material measurements and verify specifications.
• Mentor and coach helpers on repair techniques.
• Conduct inspections and testing on water-based sprinkler systems (various schedules).
• Learn to troubleshoot system issues and report resolutions to supervisors.
• Operate mobile devices for field documentation.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain safe work practices, tools, and equipment.
