Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Bowling Green, KY, seeks a Sprinkler Technician to independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. You will diagnose deficiencies, use hand tools and testing equipment, and ensure NFPA compliance while documenting work and communicating with customers.

The role may involve mentoring entry-level technicians and traveling to job sites. A high school diploma and 2+ years of sprinkler experience are expected, with NICET Level I or higher

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler systems.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Travel to job sites as required.
