Job summary

State Fire is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our Boise team. You will install and service wet, dry, and antifreeze systems, inspect heads, pipes, valves, and alarms, and ensure system readiness across sites.

Travel regionally with occasional overnights, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with fire codes and OSHA requirements. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in fire sprinkler/life safety trades
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call

Responsibilities

• Install and service wet, dry, and antifreeze sprinkler systems
• Inspect sprinkler heads, pipes, valves, alarms, and related components
• Troubleshoot systems and repair or replace faulty parts
• Test water flow, pressure, and alarms to ensure readiness
• Perform preventive maintenance and code compliance checks
• Travel within the region with occasional overnights
