Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Fitter in Reno, NV. The role focuses on independently installing fire sprinkler systems, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring compliance with NFPA standards. The ideal candidate has several years in fire safety and may progress toward journeyman status.

You will document work, communicate with customers, and travel to various job sites as required. A clean driving record is necessary if driving is involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of experience in fire and life safety as apprentice or technician.
• NICET Level I or higher preferred.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Install fire sprinkler systems independently.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for installation projects.
• Use hand tools and installation equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and installation reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Travel to job sites as required.

This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision.
