The responsibility of a Fire Sprinkler Technician is to successfully lay out, fabricate, assemble, and install fire sprinkler systems, as well as maintain piping systems, fixtures, sprinklers, and industrial processing systems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently bends, ascends and descends step stools, ladders and stairs, kneels, lifts 50 lbs., reaches above and below shoulders, stands and walks for extended periods. The employee must see in color, close and far distances, peripheral, depth and adjust focus. The employee will occasionally be required to balance, crouch, drive, kneel, lift over 50 lbs., sit, stoop, twist and work at heights.
Frequent local travel and occasional regional and non‑regional travel is required. The employee will frequently work inside and outside in hot/cold temperatures and be exposed to loud noises, cramped quarters, dust, fumes and odors, standing on hard surfaces, electrical hazards frequently. Employees will occasionally be exposed to chemicals, moving machinery, uneven and slippery surfaces. The employee must consistently wear all appropriate personal protective equipment, as required by company safety policies.
