Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or trade school preferred.
• At least 3 years' experience in installation/maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
• Ability to obtain Ohio licenses for sprinkler systems, fire mains, and fire alarms in a timely manner.
• Strong NFPA/code knowledge; able to troubleshoot and repair components.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems per project specs, NFPA standards, and local codes.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and configuration.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and components; ensure proper alignment and connections.
• Test newly installed systems for functionality and regulatory compliance.
• Inspect and maintain existing systems; troubleshoot/repair as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and inspectors to complete projects on time and budget.
• Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and comply with OSHA guidelines.
• Keep accurate records of materials, hours, and project docs.
• Provide training and guidance to team members.
