Job summary

Silco Fire & Security in Kentucky is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. You will inspect, maintain and repair commercial fire sprinkler systems, read blueprints, and support project teams to meet safety and code standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of sprinkler experience, Ohio licenses, a valid driver’s license, and strong NFPA knowledge. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship/trade school in sprinkler fitting preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
• NFPA codes, local building and fire codes knowledge emphasized.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; pre-employment checks required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems per specs and codes.
• Interpret blueprints/schematics to plan layouts.
• Assemble and inspect sprinkler components for proper alignment and connections.
• Test new systems for functionality and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records of materials, labor, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and inspectors to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Ensure safety protocols and PPE usage; follow OSHA guidelines.
