Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a sprinkler installer/foreman to install wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial sites in Chantilly, Virginia.

You will oversee small crews, read blueprints, maintain safety and documentation, and train apprentices while adapting to shift needs. The role requires a high school diploma and at least 3 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation; competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

What you will do

Perform the installation of fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial and industrial application. Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and/or job requirements. Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner.

How you will do it

• As sprinkler installer/foreman, you will efficiently and neatly perform the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.
• You will oversee small crews.
• You will maintain proper documentation for work performed and must adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• In this position you will be provided verbal and written instructions, as well as provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices.
• Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs.
• Capable of performing physical labor; perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• You will have a positive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE:

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $29-41 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
