Job summary

Desert Fire Team is seeking an experienced fire sprinkler designer to plan and lay out systems from architectural drawings and prepare construction-level calculations in Las Vegas, NV.

Responsibilities include producing accurate construction plans for material deliveries, coordinating with project personnel, and preparing material lists for procurement. The role requires three years of fire sprinkler design experience and proficiency with AutoSprink.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in fire sprinkler suppression design work and systems.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate and effective construction plans for material deliveries and field installation.
• Coordinate the design with other personnel to minimize design conflicts.
• Prepare preliminary sketches and/or schematic diagrams for fire sprinkler systems. Review manufacturer drawings against company design criteria.
• Prepare layout, detail, and assembly drawings using AutoSprink. Analyze, redesign, or modify existing designs as needed.
• Investigate data to develop a design and prepare material lists to accompany diagrams.
• Display final drawings to verify completeness, clarity, and accuracy.
