Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a designer to create fire protection sprinkler systems for industrial, commercial, and residential projects. The role involves designing systems, preparing submittals, and coordinating with field teams to ensure smooth installation and final close-out.

Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, calculating dimensions for production, and assisting with design-related installation issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.
• NICET certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection sprinkler systems for various properties with accuracy and detail.
• Submit design plans for approval and obtain permits as required.
• Prepare submittal packages and correspondences to achieve design approval.
• Perform field surveys to ensure the design is appropriate for the structure.
• Assist field personnel with design-related installation issues.
• Prepare and submit final job close-out documents after acceptance testing.
