As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician, you will:

• Repair and maintenance of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow preventers, fire hydrants, and fire pumps
• Perform fire sprinkler, fire pump and other water-based equipment inspections and testing
• Properly document deficiencies/impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow required process of reporting deficiencies while on-site
• Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed
• Maintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment. Follow corporate policies related to vehicle use and care

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in the inspections, testing, and/or repair of water-based equipment
• Must be able to differentiate types/colors of wire; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 poundsunassisted
• Ability to read/understand design and construction documents
• NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred
• 7+ years of experience in the inspections, testing, and/or repair of water-based equipment
• Experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems

• The pay range for this position is$48,230 - $109,680.The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
