Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fire alarm systems preferred.
• Must have G Card for Fire Sprinklers.
• Dual Certification - G Card and F Card preferred.
• Solid understanding of fire protection codes, NFPA 13 and NFPA 25.
• NICET certifications strongly preferred.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems to NFPA standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection and test reports with findings and deficiencies.
• Test and evaluate components like sprinklers, valves, piping, pumps, and controls.
• Inspect piping and connections for signs of corrosion or leaks and recommend repairs.
• Perform maintenance tasks and replacements to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies to restore system functionality.
• Document all service activities and customer notes accurately.
