Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is hiring a Sprinkler Service Technician to inspect, test, repair and maintain fire sprinkler systems, ensuring safety compliance for clients. You will work with contractors and authorities to address issues, document findings and support timely repair estimates.

Responsibilities include routine inspections of wet/dry/pre-action systems, reporting per NFPA codes, testing pumps and valves, and coordinating with clients to schedule work.

Qualifications

• Inspect, test, repair and maintain fire sprinkler systems to NFPA standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and work orders with findings.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and authorities to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of wet, dry and pre-action sprinkler systems.
• Document inspection findings, test results and deficiencies per NFPA codes.
• Test system components including heads, valves, piping and pumps for proper function.
• Inspect piping and fittings for corrosion or leaks and recommend repairs.
• Perform maintenance such as replacing damaged parts and cleaning components.
• Inspect fire pump assemblies and test flow and pressure levels.
• Respond promptly to service calls and restore system functionality.
• Record all activities, orders and parts usage in the Service Trade platform.
• Collaborate with Deficiency Sellers to prepare repair estimates and notes.
• Engage with clients to schedule work and discuss inspections and upgrades.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinators to optimize orders and scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety protocols.
