Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems, ensuring NFPA 25 compliance and occupant safety. You will work with clients, contractors, and authorities to address issues and maintain system integrity.

Responsibilities include documenting findings, performing maintenance, and providing clear repair estimates while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25 codes and standards.
• 5+ years of installation, maintenance and repair experience on commercial fire sprinkler systems.
• NICET certifications preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; willing to travel to client sites.
• Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 25.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and service documentation.
• Test system components: sprinkler heads, valves, piping, pumps, controls.
• Inspect piping and fittings for corrosion or leaks; recommend repairs.
• Perform maintenance tasks and replace defective components.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies to restore functionality.
• Document all activities accurately using Service Trade platform.
• Collaborate with Deficiency Sellers to prepare repair estimates.
