Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Sprinkler Helper to learn and assist with the installation and service of all forms of fire sprinkler systems and services. This entry-level role invites growth within the fire/life safety industry while you train on the job.

You will support technicians, read blueprints, and coordinate with contractors on local sites. Expect a safety-focused, team-driven environment with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to enroll in Sprinkler Fitter apprentice program and grow within the Fire and Life Safety industry.
• Self-starter; able to work independently but also a team player with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Willing to travel to local job site locations.
• Be physically fit to perform demanding work, including lifting up to 25 pounds and occasional up to 50 pounds; able to climb ladders.
• Able to obtain OSHA 10 Certifications.
• Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sprinkler Service Technicians with coordination and installation of overhead sprinkler systems, fire pumps, standpipes, and hose systems.
• Attend and participate in weekly job site safety meetings.
• Learn and assist in reading and interpreting blueprints, to help install prefabricated fire sprinkler piping.
• Occasionally communicate with various contractors and trades to ensure projects stay on time and on budget.
• Comply with industry standard procedures and Sciens safety programs/policies.
