Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Field Project Manager for the Fire Division to lead moderately complex projects with a focus on fire sprinkler systems. You will oversee scope definition, schedules, costs, safety, and quality while maintaining customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5 years in the fire protection industry, strong document interpretation, and excellent communication. Travel is required, with a competitive salary and benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in the Fire Sprinkler Systems/Fire protection industry.
• Ability to read and understand complex building architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivating.
• Computer fluency in Windows, Excel, and other software applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex fire sprinkler projects with medium to high priority.
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Present project updates to management or customers and manage vendor relationships as needed.
• Ensure projects are closed on time and in scope.
