Job summary

Impact Fire Services is seeking a Service Manager to lead a local service and inspections team reporting to the General Manager. You will ensure a safe working environment for technicians and guarantee proper training across the division.

The role requires management experience, NICET or equivalent credentials, and strong communication with clients. You will drive plans, schedules, and contracts, while upholding high service and safety standards within a growing U.S. footprint.

Qualifications

• Licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
• Minimum 3 years related operational management experience in fire protection or commercial service.
• NICET or equivalent training from manufacturers or institutions; NFPA 72 knowledge.
• Knowledge of all Impact Fire Services product lines and services.
• Competency with Microsoft Office and quick learning of company information systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the GM and managers to set financial and operational goals for service and inspection divisions.
• Implement plans to meet district goals, maximize market potential and efficiency.
• Manage new contracts and renewals; oversee labor forecasting and scheduling.
• Set productivity goals for technical and administrative staff to support divisions.
• Ensure inventory controls and cost management align with budgetary targets.
• Lead teams to deliver high-quality customer service and ensure safety compliance.

NATURE OF POSITION:

This position is a local service & inspections management position that reports to General Manager. The Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for technical personnel, and ensuring personnel are properly trained.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the General Manager and other managers to develop financial and operational goals for service and inspections divisions
• Implement plans, programs, and processes developed to meet or exceed district goals and objectives maximizing market potential.
• Manage new contracts and renewal of existing contracts or contract work.
• Consistently & accurately complete labor forecasting and scheduling, to ensure the effective operation of the Divisions and the efficiency of personnel.
• Establish productivity goals for technical and administrative employees that support and compliment the tactical priorities of the Divisions.
• Ensure appropriate inventory and inventory controls for materials needed for scheduled repairs and deficiencies.
• Achieve the assigned monthly goals for revenue and cost control; work to correct any budgetary deficiencies
• Lead the technical and administrative personnel in providing a high level of customer service
• Learn and ensure compliance with all applicable industry codes
• Protect the company’s assets
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the General Manager or Managing Member

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess any necessary licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
• Minimum 3 years related operational management experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business.
• NICET or equivalent training from manufacturers or institutions. Working knowledge of NFPA 72.
• Established knowledge of all product lines and services offered by Impact Fire Services.
• Competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn the Company’s information systems applications.
• Experience with or skills needed in designing, implementing, and maintaining safe working procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to perform physical activities outlined in the accompanying physical requirements checklist.
• Strong work ethic and professional appearance.

In addition to the above, the most desirable candidate will have:

• A four-year college degree in management or business administration or comparable experience
• Industry licensing or certification of competency with fire alarms and commercial sprinkler systems

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
