Job summary

Impact Fire Services in the United States is seeking apprentices in fire protection trades. This role offers hands-on training across fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and inspection positions, with mentorship from experienced pros.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' fire sprinkler pipe fitting experience (implied by job listing).
• Reading drawings is required for layout and installation tasks.
• Ability to run, layout, measure, thread and cut pipe.
• Knowledge of fire sprinkler installation methods and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, inspection and retrofit of fire safety systems.
• Support apprenticeship programs and training opportunities.
• Collaborate with licensed technicians to complete jobs safely and efficiently.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2 years' fire sprinkler pipe fitting experience.
• Commercial Construction Experience preferred.
• Must know how to read drawings.
• Can run, layout, measure, thread and cut pipe.
• Knowledge of Fire Sprinkler Systems installation methods.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of Fire Sprinkler System Design
• Understands Fire Sprinkler Code
• Must work in an efficient manner with little supervision.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines.
