Job summary

S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Layout Technician to join our growing mechanical and fire protection team in Ohio.

The role requires creating and laying out fire sprinkler systems within NFPA standards, collaborating with sales, fabrication and project teams, and supporting senior staff. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of fire protection design experience, a high school diploma, proficiency in Hydratec CAD or AutoSPRINK, and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of fire protection design experience required.
• NICET certification is a plus.
• Engineering background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete a sprinkler layout as detailed in NFPA standards.
• Coordinate work with sales, fabrication, and project teams.
• Prepare material takeoffs and assist with estimates.
• Assist with project documentation and regulatory submittals.
• Mentor Trainees and Junior Designers as needed.
