Job summary

Fortis Fire & Safety is seeking a dedicated Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join the CJ Suppression team in California. You will inspect and ensure proper functioning of fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA codes and local regulations, safeguarding lives and property.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of relevant experience, reads schematics well, and adheres to safety protocols. Must possess a valid CA driver’s license and be willing to travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of Fire Sprinkler installation and ITM experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and inspection procedures.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics for fire protection systems.
• Valid California driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, testing and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Complete inspection reports and work orders promptly.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision and coach apprentices.
